I am here to raise funds in memory of CWO2 Scott W. Dyer. Chief Warrant Officer Two Scott W. Dyer, Assistant Detachment Commander of 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg North Carolina, was killed in action October 11th, 2006. It is because of Scott that I strive to be a part of Marine Corps Special Operations, just like he was in respect to the United States Army. I grew up in a military family that held the virtues of honor, courage, and commitment as the standard of life and because of this I want nothing more than to give as much as possible back to those who have given everything. I would be honored to be able to do this. I will be wearing my OCP trousers, combat boots, combat shirt, boonie cover, a 15lbs plate carrier and a 15-20lbs rucksack, carry a “rubber duck m16”, and flying an American flag on the ruck, and march for 38 hours straight to commemorate his 38 years of life, as well as the lives of all who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their nation. I would be honored if you would support this. I know this will be adversarial, it will be difficult, but I know I can do it. Scott, and all other who lived this kind of life have all gone through astronomically worse and faced harsher adversity, as I said, I grew up in a family that held the virtues of honor, courage, and commitment as the standard of life, so if I were to do any less it would be dishonor to their sacrifice.
