Dear Friends,
As many of you know and many still may not be aware, my brother Thomas ‘Tom’ Melillo, passed away suddenly on May 22, 2020. Three years later we continue to celebrate the goofy, loyal, fun loving, amazing man he was.
In honor of Tom’s memory on the three-year anniversary of his passing, I am raising money for an organization that I believe Tom would have really liked. Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded non-profit whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate wounded military and law enforcement veterans through physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation. When I was introduced to OEW I immediately connected with their mission, supporting wounded veterans to get out and continue to do amazing things.
On the weekend of his third anniversary I am running the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon and would like to take this opportunity to raise funds and spread the word about OEW. All of the funds go directly towards supporting the organization and the programs for veterans (including full registration and support for Spartan Races!) Any donation you can provided would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to also share your pictures, videos, and stories of Tom. The Melillo Family always wants to hear about his life (and maybe cringe at some of the crazier stories we don’t know about!)
